Breakfast, most notably known for his amazing remix skills, opens eyes with his single “Median” remixed by his alias Keyworth. Casey Keyworth (Breakfast) is a very talented DJ, having been quickly scooped up by Ferry Corsten’s label.
Keyworth showcases technical skills, as the remix of “Median” highlights great buildups and filters somewhat similar in style to that of famed DJ BT. The added piano notes add a haunting feeling to the track. This is a prime example of integration of various musical elements to produce something that is cutting edge and genre bending.
“Median” is on the same level as Breakfast’s previous hit “From the Earth”. It will be interesting to see in the future if Breakfast focuses his efforts on the remix game, or goes the solo route on his own productions. Regardless, this is yet another Anjunabeats artist to follow closely.
