EDM CHARTS’ OFFICIAL REVIEW: FEED ME | ESCAPE FROM ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN | EP REVIEW [mau5trap]

British electro house artist Feed Me just recently released his new EP “Escape From Electric Mountain”. It is quite the mixture of tracks. Tracks range from rock-infused electro, progressive house, and dubstep. Jon Gooch (Feed Me) has had a succesful year with an earlier release of his previous album “Feed Me’s Big Adventure” which was jam-packed with smooth productions such as “Cloudburn” and “White Spirit”. The new EP is very technically sound in arrangement and style.

Below is a preview of the 6 tracks from the new release:

Key tracks to take note of on this EP are “Relocation” which is more progressive house in style and integrates a unique xylophone riff. “One Click Headshot” is hard hitting dubstep track that showcases a sped up vocal loop. “Trichitillomania” is slightly tech-house in style and is reminiscent of early deadmau5 a few years back.

This is a great EP that should be purchased by any EDM fan that is looking for a showcase of manipulating elements of electro house. It can currently be purchased at Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/release/feed-mes-escape-from-electric-mountain/867302
