2. PAUL VAN DYK, PLUMB “I DON’T DESERVE YOU” [MAOR LEVI & BLUESTONE REMIX] (VANDIT) Release Date: 2012-10-08

Rating: ★★★★

Genre: Trance

Origin: Germany

Description: Paul van Dyk has been in the game for awhile, and nothing is new to him. This remix by Maor Levi & Bluestone is a little bit of a different blend then we usually expect from van Dyk, but it is fresh and provocative. Plumb’s vocals were a great addition, as they bring back memories and capture the moment just perfectly.

CLASSIC COLLABORATION: OAKENFOLD, PHARRELL WILLIAMS “SEX ‘N’ MONEY” [ORIGINAL MIX] (MAVERICK) Release Date: 2006-11-27

Rating: ★★★★★

Genre: House

Origin: UK

Description: Oakenfold has been in the game now for over three decades. While he doesn’t release many singles per se, this one was a great release. The track is unique, for its time, as he got Pharrell involved on vocals, who we most notably know from The Neptunes and N.E.R.D. It is club friendly, upbeat, and was a genre jumping single for its time in 2006.

3. HARD ROCK SOFA, MAX’C, DJ SQUIRE “JUST CAN’T STAY AWAY” [ORIGINAL VOCAL MIX] (SPINNIN’ RECORDS) Release Date: 2012-10-08

Rating: ★★★

Genre: Progressive House

Origin: Russia

Description: The Russian duet of Hard Rock Sofa, rock out their newest single with the help of DJ Squire and Max’C on vocals. This is a much more housy production from them then fans are used to, but it is one of their best releases. Max’C does an absolutely brilliant job on vocals, with his soulful style. There is just something about the vibe on this track the catches the listeners ear.

The track actually sounds like an electro house production in the beginning, and then slowly transforms to be more progressive and airy. Watch out for Allure, as they can continue to pump out more material under the watchful eye of label owner Tiesto.
