Brrr! It’s getting cold outside, yet the music seems to be heating up! Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs is anything but extinct with their smooth progressive house remix. Sebastian Inrgrosso & Tommy Trash lock and load with “Reload”. Daddy’s Groove lays down some style with “P.I.M.P.”
Description: Songstress Aruna, teams up with her usual cast (when together known as Velvetine) to pump out a great vocal progressive house/trance track. Description: Paul van Dyk has been in the game for awhile, and nothing is new to him. This remix by Maor Levi & Bluestone is a little bit of a different blend then we usually expect from van Dyk, but it is fresh and provocative. Plumb’s vocals were a great addition, as they bring back memories and capture the moment just perfectly.

Description: Oakenfold has been in the game now for over three decades. While he doesn’t release many singles per se, this one was a great release. The track is unique, for its time, as he got Pharrell involved on vocals, who we most notably know from The Neptunes and N.E.R.D. It is club friendly, upbeat, and was a genre jumping single for its time in 2006.
Reminds Us Of: “Faster Kill Pussycat” – Oakenfold, Brittany Murphy
Genre: Progressive House
Description: The Russian duet of Hard Rock Sofa, rock out their newest single with the help of DJ Squire and Max’C on vocals. This is a much more housy production from them then fans are used to, but it is one of their best releases. Max’C does an absolutely brilliant job on vocals, with his soulful style. There is just something about the vibe on this track the catches the listeners ear.
Reminds Us Of: “Swedish Beauty/Diamond Life” – Julie McKnight, Louie Vega, AN21, Max Vangeli
Genre: Progressive House
Description: Tiesto and partner project Allure, made up of a couple Dutch artists and one member from Showtek, get together to impress fans with their recent progressive house production. The track actually sounds like an electro house production in the beginning, and then slowly transforms to be more progressive and airy. Watch out for Allure, as they can continue to pump out more material under the watchful eye of label owner Tiesto.
Reminds Us Of: “Roxy” – Robbie Rivera
Description: Well, we have Anjuanbeats on the countdown once again, doing what they do best; trance. UK DJ Bluestone releases “Capetown” as a melodic and beautiful production. You can tell the attention to detail, based on arrangements, small vocals type loops and the synths. Bluestone continues to garner attention, as an up and coming artist with his own original productions and remixes.
