Rating: ★★★

Genre: Electro House

Origin: Holland

Description: If you’re looking for some classic Afrojack dirty dutch, this track is for you! The track moves at breakneck speed, and is dirty in styling. It is filled with a deep bassline and plenty of modulated synths. It is another single to add to Afrojack’s archive hard hitting singles perfect for the big room.

CLASSIC COLLABORATION: FERRY CORSTEN “FIRE” [EXTENDED MIX] (ULTRA) Release Date: 1999-10-05

Rating: ★★★★★

Genre: Progressive House

Origin: Holland

Description: “Fire” is one of the best tracks to ever be produced by trance legend Ferry Corsten. The instrumental is memorizing, and perfectly matched with vocals from Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran. Make sure to check out the music video, as it is as unique as the track itself. This is a milestone track for all progressive house hits.

3. R3HAB, SHERMANOLOGY “LIVING 4 THE CITY” [ORIGINAL MIX] (WALL RECORDINGS) Release Date: 2012-10-29

Rating: ★★★

Genre: Electro House

Origin: Holland

Description: Another electro house track makes the countdown this week in “Living 4 The City”. This time two Dutch artists collaborate, R3hab and Shermanology. Shermanology kills the vocals and R3hab does what he always does; lay down hardcore, bass driven beats. It is another great single to come from Wall Recordings.

4. HARD ROCK SOFA, SWANKY TUNES, MATISSE & SADKO “CHEMISTRY [TURN THE FLAME HIGHER]” [ORIGINAL MIX] (SHOWLAND) Release Date: 2012-11-5

Rating: ★★★

Genre: Progressive House

Origin: USA

Description: Three great artists get together to create some “chemistry” on this latest Showland production. Again another track on this countdown that relies on heavy beats to get the listener going. The track is rather dramatic yet has a very smooth and dark flow to it. All three of the artists involved have been doing huge things of late in the EDM scene.

5. THE PRODIGY “BREATHE” [ZEDS DEAD REMIX] (XL RECORDINGS) Release Date: 2012-11-5

Rating: ★★★

Genre: Electro House

Origin: UK

Description: Doesn’t this track bring back memories from the 90s? The Prodigy’s legendary hit “Breathe” is remixed by Dubstep artist Zeds Dead to give bassheads something to listen to. The single still contains the epic chorus riff, but this time it is even more high energy, with a filthy bassline. Right now, Zeds Dead is one of the premier dubstep artists making a name for themselves as the genre continues to expand.
